Events Coordinator (Sports)


The role of the Coordinator is to ensure the successful implementation of Juniors projects and in particular, to assist with the preparation of team competition Regional Qualifying events and coordination of the Junior Circuit.




Junior Team Competitions

·         Assist with qualifying events for Junior Team Competitions

·         Circulars

·         Nominations

·         Seeding

·         Shipments


Junior Circuit


  •          Provide a high level of customer service to all stakeholders, via telephone, email & fax
  •       Process Entries/Withdrawals
  •          Prepare and publish Acceptance Lists
  •          Ensure receipt and publication of tournament fact sheets
  •          Ensure receipt and publication of weekly results
  •          Ensure publication of updated rankings
  •          Circuit Calendar maintenance
  •          Feed Up Exempt Project maintenance
  •          Code of Conduct inputting and monitoring
  •           Reply to Juniors inbox queries
  •          Assist with preparation of Events


General Duties

·         Preparation of papers for Committee Meetings

·         Attendance at Juniors events where necessary

·         Assist in preparation of major events as required

·         Work on specific projects as and when assigned


Skills Required

·         Excellent administration, organisational and planning skills

·         Good customer service skills

·         Ability to prioritise and work on own initiative in an efficient and timely manner

·         Good attention to detail/accuracy

·         Good communication skills, written and oral

·         Fluent in both written and spoken English

·         Languages French & Spanish desirable

·         Knowledge of tennis desirable

·         Ability to work as part of team

·         Enthusiastic and motivated

·         Diplomatic

·         Flexible attitude
